Our Pastor

 Father Jamie H. Acevedo

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico in 1953, Fr. Jimmy is the third of four children.  Educated at Colegio San José, University of Puerto Rico and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the State of New York.  Moved to Miami, in 1985 and in 1993 entered St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami for his Philosophy certificate and St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach in 1994.  He was ordained in 1999 and served as Associate pastor in St. Mark’s, Immaculate Conception and St. Louis parishes before being assigned to Mother of Our Redeemer as Pastor in 2005.
